Day 38 Bosherston to Tenby (18.2 miles, cumulative 633.0)

The rain gods are still with me! It rained heavily overnight and the late evening forecast predicted more for today, but miraculously the rain stopped at 8am and went missing for the rest of the day.

Another glorious coastal walk and perfect conditions yet again - sunshine and a light breeze.

I followed a broad, grassy path high on the cliffs, with fine views of Church Rock, then descended via Stackpole Head to a beautiful beach at Barafundle Bay. This was one of several beaches in recent weeks where I've been very tempted to stop for a swim, but the practicalities of removing boots and keeping to schedule have intervened.

The path bypassed two military zones (this area of Pembrokeshire is littered with them), before descending to The Burrows beach and onward to Tenby.

Finally, many congratulations to my daughter Hannah,  who received her degree result this afternoon - a first class with distinction!
